Tim Kränzke

Tim comes from the areas of IT hardware, IT support and IT system installation and has more than 30 years of professional experience in various management positions in the IT industry. Tim is an industrial computer scientist and has a master's degree in business management. Over the past 20 years, he has worked for well-known companies of various sizes in the area of SAP Enterprise Security. He was a speaker at IT conferences such as Oil & Gas, it-sa and DSAG. Before joining SERPENTEQ, he was a member of the management board and authorized representative of a large SAP security company.

Xu Jia

Xu began his journey in the SAP security adventure in 2006 as an architect of the first advanced static code analysis tool in the SAP-specific ABAP language. Together with Andreas, he has given many exciting presentations at SAP-specific security conferences and has demonstrated a considerable number of amazing vulnerabilities over the years. His work in the area of zero-day research is recognized in the “Hall of Fame” by Google, Mozilla, PayPal and is also recognized by SAP. At SERPENTEQ, Xu's main task is to make leading companies safer with his excellent knowledge through penetration testing and awareness of vulnerabilities.

Andreas Wiegenstein

Andreas is a pioneer in SAP security. He discovered numerous zero-days in SAP software back in 2003 — long before there was a response process at SAP. Andreas has made a significant contribution to bringing ABAP security to the attention of SAP developers and customers and has contributed to the development of a market-leading ABAP code scanner. He has trained leading companies and defense organizations in the area of SAP security and has given many presentations both at SAP-specific conferences such as TechEd, DSAG, BIZEC and Sapience as well as at general security conferences such as Troopers, Black Hat, HITB, IT Defense, DeepSec and RSA. He has identified the ABAP Top 20 risks published by the BSI and is co-author of the first book on ABAP security (SAP Press 2009).

Julia Hans

Julia's professional career in SAP security began in 2012. After completing her master's degree in computer science, she carried out numerous international security audits in various SAP and non-SAP products, platforms and customer-specific applications. Julia has been researching new vulnerabilities for several years and regularly prepares exploits for training purposes and awareness-raising workshops. At SERPENTEQ, Julia coordinates all penetration testing projects.

Jianfeng Wang

Jianfeng, an experienced SAP veteran, joined SERPENTEQ in 2021 to expand our research and pentesting team. From now on, we are pleased to be able to use his wealth of technical experience with SAP technologies and solutions, which he has gained during his 12 years with SAP in Walldorf. In addition to working on the development of several SAP solutions, he has also shared his knowledge through presentations at several SAP conferences. Whenever time allows, Jianfeng works on new concepts for security solutions.
